Sober Living

susan ulmer addiction services

Many addicts come to us from unsafe living environments (or none at all).

We are fortunate to have partnered with Oxford House Society in Regina, a wonderful group offering 5 sober houses in the city for men and 1 for women. They are looking at expansion into Saskatoon as well.

These homes have proven to be a great first stop for addicts on their path to healthy recovery, as they work together with other recovering residents of the house to achieve their goals.

Many addicts come to us having lost their jobs as a result of their addiction. Some have been living on the streets, or have just exited a correctional institution.

Unemployment can be a major deterrent to a healthy recovery, and we work hard to place our clients in healthy work environments to get them back in the workforce.

We have been fortunate to find companies that will work with us and give our clients part-time and full-time work, and we are continuing to find more opportunities.

Many addicts come to us without a means for transportation, no money for a bus pass, and no access to other options. They’re down and out, but want to get well.

We are currently working towards securing vehicle availability for our licensed clients to help them get to and from important places like work, 12-step meetings, counselling sessions and more.

Financial Consultation

Financial issues can seem insurmountable for some addicts entering treatment.

To east the burden, we’ve partnered with BDO, a national company specializing in credit counselling, consumer proposals and bankruptcies.
