About Us
That help will be based on what the addict requires and not on what they can afford.
Our founder Susan Ulmer started S.U.A.S because she felt there was a need for an addiction program that would help the addict deal with his/her addiction and still be able to go to school, work, and look after their home and families. S.U.A.S provides many other services, through partnerships with, First Nation Communities, John Howard Society, Elizabeth Fry Society, Neil Squire, probations, and many employers who will hire recovering addicts. “She wanted clients coming into our program to feel comfortable and safe. All our clients are treated with compassion and understanding. In order to do this, we hire recovering addicts that have done our full program and are trained by me to assist in our clients recovery.”.
